What is Geospatial Science?

Geospatial is a combination of geography and spatial. Geography is a science that deals with the description, distribution, and interaction of the diverse physical, biological, and cultural features of the earth’s surface, and spatial is relating to, occupying, or having the character of space. Geospatial scientists collect, analyze and model data based on a particular location, then use creative ways to map or represent the data simply and meaningfully.
